There are the chapters, and there is the house. Each season, Beauséjour sets off on a journey again: Saint-Tropez, Tokyo, Bali, Paris, but we don't carry a travel journal every day. We wear a basic: the one we slip on without thinking, which accompanies us just as well on a morning at home as on a stopover between two chapters.
